Five goals from two matchdays
Valencia CF have equalled their best scoring statistics from the opening two matchdays of a LaLiga season, proving to be adept in front of goal thus far in 2020/21. The team have found the net on five occasions so far, in their games against Levante UD and Celta Vigo.
Whilst this campaign is different to previous seasons, with several teams still to start, Valencia CF are currently the side with the most goals scored in the top flight.

They kicked off 2020/21 with a 4-2 win at Mestalla against Levante UD, and were able to add to their goal haul in a losing effort against Celta Vigo.
Scorers so far are Maxi Gómez (2), Manu Vallejo (2) and Gabriel Paulista.
The five goals match the tally at this stage of the 2011/12 season, and only the 2009/10 campaign exceeds it of recent years: VCF scored six goals in their first two games back then, in triumphs against Sevilla FC at Mestalla (2-0) and Real Valladolid at the José Zorilla (2-4).
